The month of October was quite intense for the Sakalas team – the sakalians finished the second month of autumn with several trips to future and existing partners and expanded their horizons by looking for new products, which might appear on our shelves.
The team visited Anuga – the world’s leading food and drink exhibition in Germany. Each year, the show is characterized by its liveliness and diversity of products – about 7,900 exhibitors from 118 countries presented their products here.
Future partners in Georgia were visited and knowledge of the world of tea at the Dilmah Tea Training was expended in Hungary. Not only did they learn about the history, culture, production methods and technologies of tea, but they also learned about the widely unknown uses of tea, as revealed by tea masters – from marinating meat and fish to eliminating the various aftertastes (spiciness, bitterness, various spices, fat, smokiness and others) by eliminating such taste with a sip of strong black tea. A lot has been learnt, seen, and visited – Sakalas never stands still!
