From Tea Leaves in Sri Lanka to Store Shelves in Lithuania – a Journey with Dilmah The event brought together Dilmah partners from around the world to celebrate the brand’s 40th anniversary and to share insights into the future of the tea market.
During the conference, discussions focused on Dilmah’s core values, business development directions, and key market trends. Together with representatives from other countries, participants discussed ways to strengthen tea culture both in retail and in the hospitality sector.
During the training sessions, the team deepened their knowledge of tea culture, tasted various types of tea, learned how to pair tea with food, and explored the fundamental principles of tea preparation. Practical solutions were also presented on how Dilmah products can be used to create exceptional flavor experiences in the hospitality industry.
During the visit, the Dilmah tea factory was toured, offering a close look at the entire tea journey – from hand-picked tea leaves to the final packaged product. One of the most memorable moments of the trip was a visit to the MJF Foundation center, which implements social initiatives and provides daily support to thousands of children and adults from vulnerable communities.
The journey was crowned with a significant recognition – the Launch Excellence Award – Retail, awarded to UAB “Sakalas” for the most effective launch of the renewed Dilmah tea range in the Lithuanian market.
This award confirms the team’s focused work, strong attention to detail, and a solid partnership with an international brand.
